Original content first

Indexable article pages must contain substantial Viral Laundry writing, useful context, and a clear reason for readers to visit beyond reaching an outside link. We do not approve copied articles, synonym rewrites, thin feed summaries, or repeated boilerplate.

Live discovery

Automated systems monitor public news sources for current headlines. They reject social-media domains, raw URLs in titles, graphic or prohibited topics, low-value schedule posts, broken text, duplicate headlines, and weak source labels. Live discoveries are marked Live Wire and remain noindex until a fuller editorial review.

Source hierarchy

Primary documents, official agencies, courts, leagues, companies, and direct interviews are preferred when available. Reposts are not treated as independent confirmation. Allegations, estimates, projections, rumors, and preliminary totals receive language that reflects their status.

Images and video

Editor-approved explainers use licensed or reusable editorial imagery. Live Wire items use neutral category artwork rather than copying a publisher’s article image. Videos are embedded from the original public platform and remain linked to the creator.

Corrections

Material factual errors are corrected promptly. Updates should explain what changed when the change affects the meaning of the story.
